hey, i have started ordering what i can for my new computer with my wages, and im thinking of the 128mb 6600GT

only thing is ive heard of PNY and Novatech is the sites name, is it still a proper 6600GT even tho it has its own brand name on it?

I've read that Nvidia has variations of their graphics chip from brand to brand.
I'm not sure if that is still true with the newer cards. ATI chips are the same across all boards. I hardly think it's a negligable difference however. Its a good card either way IMO. :grinthumb

the only difference between different brands is that some like to clock at different settings, but they will never be lower than the stock manufacturer (NVidia's) clock settings. XFX, BFG, Evga like to overclock their cards to make them more appealing to consumers, but they cannot make them perform slower than what is stated on NVidia's website. bit rate and pipelines are the same across the brand spectrum with respect to card series.
