  1. When they say "Built for Windows Vista" does that mean that they will not work as good on XP? Or not at all on XP?

I think that Built for Vista simply means that they will work with Vista. The cards work fine on XP as well.

They will work BETTER in windows XP, drivers are better and performance is better because Vista is a doggy pig of an OS, which I had to get to play halo 2 vista (Damnit)

They work better in XP for the moment, as does everything else. But in time, driver optimization will get better, and game developers will begin to use more of the features of the Unified Shader Architecture and DirectX10. When they do, performance on Vista will surpass XP.

Yes, "when" is the key word. So far they aren't listening to any of the users as to the items that need to be fixed. So who knows when a patch will come out. Personally, I'm not shelling out $400 for an OS. I'll stick to XP 64-bit.

Halo 2 works on XP as well. There's a cracked loader available, if you look in the right places...;)
