Abit AI7 & Internal IDE Zip 250 Drive, won't boot

I have rebuilt my computer with the following configuration:

Abit AI7 Mother Board
P4 - 3000MHz Prescott CPU
Volcano P4 Style CPU and Heat Sink
2 x DDR 333 CRSR 512MB
NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200 with 128MB
Initio 9100UW SCSI Controller
Western Digital 74 GB SATA Hard Drive on SATA channel 1
IDE CDRW Drive on IDE channel A Master
IDE CD-ROM Drive on IDE channel A Slave
Internal IDE Zip 250 Drive on IDE channel B
3.5" Floppy Drive
400 Watt Power Supply

I have installed Win2K and everything works fine with the exception that the system will not boot from the hard drive. It trys to boot from the CD-ROM and displays a message that it can not boot and to press enter. After pressing enter the computer boots from the hard drive.

After calling Abit's technical support line, I disconnected the Zip drive and the computer boots just fine. I am running bios version 17. I really don't mind pressing the enter key to continue with the computer's boot cycle, but was wondering if any one out there has a fix for my problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Henry

Boot it up, go into BIOS, set it up so that the boot devices do NOT include "try other devices", but only hd and floppy. You can still use zip in Windows.
