Abit AW9D-Max Won't Boot

I have my A-Bit all rigged up correctly and ready to go, complete with uGuru panel. When I turn the power switch on the red light turns on the motherboard. Once I press the power button, blue leds flash behind it and momentarilly the POST LED reads 90, which stands for 'uGuru process complete, booting taken over by AwardBIOS'. Now, the hard drive is blank, and this board had a previous owner who obviously had different hardware than I do. It seems like none of my USB devices durn on, i.e. mouse, keyboard, and nothing displays on the screen. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

I would jumper the bios clear, and then use a ps2 mouse and keyboard to see if that gets you anywhere. Also I would remove all cards in the system save for a stick of mem and the vid card, just to get going. If it has onboard vid then I would use that to try to boot.
