Im just curious if anyone knows what type of cd-rw will work in my car. I have a 2001 Nissan xterra and right now im using my cd player with a car kit, I really dont want to do this because i have a 6 disc cd changer in my car thats going to waste. is there a specific brand of cr-rw's that i can use that will work?

Is the radio stock? It really depends on what CD player you have in your car.

yea. its the 6 disc cd changer that comes with the car itself.

Pretty much if the CD player isn't made for CD-RW's, it won't play them. But, EXPERIMENT! They are CD-RW's after all, so you can reuse them.

Wait a sec.. that may be your problem actually...

if you are using CD-RW disks and not closing the session i am pretty sure it will not work no matter what media you try.

Also are you trying to use MP3's or are you burning regular wav files. also try using cd-r and not cd-rw some car sterio's had problems reading rw's
