Acer LCD monitor color problem

Hey everyone, i Just got A great LCD Monitor and its Acer...
Everythin is charmin about it, the colors are just crazy! but there is a lil problem, the text aint perfect, how can i Make the Desktop Text look bette? and I got the screen in 60 Hertz? is it the best thing? or i shud i have it in 70 Hertz? if u know let me know plz

Check your resolution settings (1280 x 1024, etc). Most LCD's are optimized for a specific resolution....primarily for text.

I would set the monitor at the highest Hz. setting. It's just for the refreshment power/speed. Is the lcd hooked into an adapter for your computer (from dvi - vga)?

Set the resolution at the monitors native level.

Change the sharpness settings in your controls, should be near ur resolution settings. Color correction as well might help.

thanks for the help everyone, and Masque thanks sooo much man, its the right resoultion,lol i was a fool i didnt even check the box of the LCD Screen u know i was so excited to open it and plug it in feel me??
