adding a printer to a home wireless network

  1. Recently we have added another computer to our household and decided to use a wireless router to share the internet connection. I need help figuring out how to add the printer on the main computer to be able to use it on the extension PC...any help is greatly appreciated.

    i think you just have to make the printer shaerable on the network, as the internet connection sharing through the wireless router already forms a network.

    You can just right click on the printer after installing in main computer, go to properties and then to sharing. . and you have everything before you. Make sure you allow the extension computer to be accessible i.e, not stopped by the firewall.

    enable file/print sharing via the Windows Firewall, Exceptions tab
