Mastering Adobe Premier available on eBay for $8.95. Several excellent books available used on www.amazon.com for a slow as $6.80.

I doubt it. There isn't freeware that is any good for any Adobe product... Adobe is the second largest software company in the world, and they control their copyrights and permissions very well. It is just about impossible to design freeware tutorial help without the copyright permissions from the company who sells it...
Adobe Premier has such low sales rates that it is not productive for design people to pay those fees and take that risk... for FREE
