Hey guys I run I Source Dedicated Server off of my RIG for my un-secure however legit clan.
I was hoping you guys might now and alternative to the VAC2?

I don't know much about this topic, but isn't Punkbuster an anti-cheat service also, like VAC? - http://www.evenbalance.com/

Because our server is not a VAC server. Meaning that hackers are more freaquently coming in than legit players. Since our clan is an un-secure clan our server lacks VAC.
And Cheating Death is discountinued. It would be pointless to use because 3 years have passed since the last update. So plenty of hax that beat it have been made by now.
And I found this and installed it. http://www.thezproject.org/projects.php?pid=3
So far it doesn't work againsted HOLZED 1.2 fix, and that is the only hack I know so it didn't beat the most commenly used hack.
EDIT: Silly me. I forgot to edit the .cfg file. I haven't tested it out again but as long as it blocks have somewhat then it's just good as the VAC.

Update (required new post):
This mod does work. Apparently somebody who is in the clan came in with HOLZED on and got banned. Regards less the person is suspended and I'm happy with the outcome of this alternative to the VAC.
