AMD to demo "Toledo" at October's Processor Forum

  1. The Fall Processor Forum this October will have an interesting visit from AMD, who will be talking about their new "Toledo" dual-core chip. Hopefully, we will all soon get to hear about what dual-core tech AMD will be bringing to us soon, rather than us just hearing some vague plans.

    "Toledo" will be the name of the dual-core chip replacing the Athlon FX in desktop PCs. Its arrival will mark the first time a desktop microprocessor will combine two processor cores on the same die.
