Another video problem.

  1. I just rebuilt my computer with an Aopen KT600 mobo and an XP 3200 processor. Everything works great but during the POST and XP welcome screen the picture is shrunk about and inch from the outside and there are white bars on the side. It also does this when a game first starts to load. Other than that no video problems. I reformatted the drive with the rebuild and used Catalyst 4.4 drivers. This didnt happen right off. I think it was after I installe the Leadtek TV tuner card but Im not sure. I used different video drivers but it still happens.

Drivers shouldn't matter as this is happening before they're ever loaded. Most likely this is just an issue of how your monitor displays VGA output from your video card. To check this, try a different monitor and see if the results are the same or during post, pause your computer, adjust the monitor display settings, then continue to boot.
