Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Go HERE and follow all the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.

Regards Howard

how can I save the instructions so that I can see them in safe mode?
I tried saving as txt and word.. no dice

maybe I'm just retarded...

I opened notepad, pasted it.. saved it to the desktop, restarted in safe mode... ??? its not there!!!

That`s strange. I have no explanation as to why that should be.

Maybe try saving it to your documents folder?

When you boot into safe mode you are logging in under your account name and not the administrator aren`t you?

Regards Howard :)

So, the spyware seems to be gone.. but here's the HJT log just in case...

thanks for all the help, you rock!
