Hi, i have a load of cheap unpainted cd's and wonder if i can spray them up?

I know that cd's are quite delicate so i'm not sure if spray paint would eat into them or not stick.

I have a fair amount pf different types of spray paint including polycarbonate and acrylic, but thought I'd ask if anyone else had tried before.

That`s got to be one of the strangest questions we`ve had on Techspot lol.

It`s not something I`ve ever tried or thought of doing.

It`s deffinitely not something I`d be inclined to try.

Maybe it`d be easier and safer to get some adhesive cd lables and print them with whatever colour, or design you want.

Regards Howard :)

Nice idea, but i don't have a printer and a friend had some of those labels and they kept peeling off.
I have a whole load of cd's and a whole load of spray paint so i may have to do some experimenting.

yep you can I do stencils
you need to use thin acrylic paint that does not eat the finish on disc
to heavy paint will ruin the player and the disc
the part of disc not written to is part thats needs protected more than write part.
do google for how things are made add dvd disc's to search
