Apple wants to keep sex and violence off its upcoming streaming service

Tell that to a judge in their court room. I will change my stance as soon as a judge changes their stance.

Better yet I will change my stance just as soon as the masses deem vulgar language, violence, and sexual behavior is fit for children to witness/mimic.
Most obscenity issues have been dismissed in court in favor of 1st Amendment rights to free speech. Look up Larry Flint & "Hustler".

Besides, nobody is telling you to watch "Deadpool" with children, both episodes are "R" rated.

And nobody is telling you that you have to use Apple's or Tesla's services either. But here you are same as me.

Besides watching "Deadpool" with children is not the problem. The problem is buying a service that should be child friendly. And then having to worry about what they watch when you are not around. If Apple service doesn't have what you want, then I'm sure there will be another service to offer your desire. No need in making all services cater to adult desires.

This is why I live with cats, and don't subscribe to anything to do with a streaming service.

Do you have children at home with you, or are you just here for the thrill of the debate as well?

The world is full of puritans all of a sudden. No sex, no violance, no drugs, no bad language no offensive content. Nothing interesting whatsoever.

If Apple wants to compete with Cbeebies that's fine. It won't sell though.
So if it's not sick and disgusting it's not interesting?

Maybe I should reconsider my aversion to Apple. I'm so sick and tired of the media- including ad agencies- catering to the lowest common denominator.
I hope more providers will do the same, and the *****s who don't like it can go to hell.
If you object to my comment, and you want sick and disgusting content, there are tons of it on sites I'm sure you're well aware of.

- Well, this whole issue boils down to, "how violent is violent", and, "how obscene is obscene".

I consider network TV, (the kind you don't have to pay for), to still be the arbiter of a reasonable reference of what is suitable viewing for most to all. Parental cautions are in place tor young viewers as prime time progresses. Most to all remote controls also have parental blocking aids in place.

As for the web, porn is a fact of life. But there, the web surfer has the ability to set his or her own limits.

As far as Apple sanitizing TV content to the point where a parent is unneeded, hell that's what Apple has been doing for well over a decade. "It just works", is a euphemism for, "we'll tell you what you can and can't do with our product". So, as it turns out, Apple will be babysitting for you, while you surf for porn, or bang a mistress. Just don't call her on the iPhone you're about to buy. Use a burner. ;)(y) (Y)

Anyway, with all the self righteous indignation your post contains, I'd have thought you'd have had the decency, or the literacy and vocabulary, to put it up without these...."*****".

Like when somebody commits a heinous crime and the common response is "What the **** is wrong with these people?".
