going on the assumption that i want a 754 PC, does anyone know of any reason to stay away from this board? keep in mind that i am using this system primarily for gaming.
from what i have been able to find, i know this:
-the board is a little outdated
-it is picky when it comes to RAM
-ASUS has replaced it with the K8V-X SE (i dont know the reasons for this)
i consider myself kinda knowledgable about computers (at least i've built every one i've owned) however i'm not 100% familiar with all the specs and details and how one core differers from another. when 2 things seem pretty similar to me, i usually go by price - but because this board is a little old i'm kind of uneasy about making this decision.
so i guess respond if you can think of any reason i shouldnt buy this board tonight (assuming i make the decision to go with a 754 socket computer...if you wanna help with this choice, check the post i put up a few minutes ago)
