ATI 9800 Pro 128MB TV Problem

Hi

I recently brought a new PC with a Powercolor ATI 9800 PRO graphics card included. I recently tried the TV out feature and so far I’ve completely failed to get the VGA card to detect my TV I have a Sony Trinitron TV from 2003 with a RCA video in signal at the front of the TV. I brought a 7 pin slink to RCA cable for my 9800 pro and so far it can not detect my TV. I have followed all the steps turning off my PC and TV, connecting the cables and then power on my TV first and then my PC and nothing. I have installed the latest drivers from ATI’s website still nothing. Now I’m at a dead end. Not sure if this helps but I live in Sweden and my PC spec is the following:

AMD 64 3400+
1GB RAM,
160GB HD,
POWERCOLOR ATI 9800 PRO 128MB,
WIN XP PRO.

Could it be the wrong cable?

I have a Video cable 7 pin s link to RCA, should I be using a 7 pin s link to scart? If it’s possible to get that.

I really need some help here so if anyone knows of any similar problem or can see something obvious I'm doing wrong. I would be grateful for any feedback
