Ati Card not working...

ok after learning that my vid card isnt compatible with games i play i went back to one that is. its the origanal card that cam with the computer. it turns out its better than the 125 bucks i put out for a crappy 9250 series. but the thing is when i put it in the agp slot it doesnt detect that its even there. i know its plugged in because i got the moniter hooked up to the back of it and the moniter is on and its working fine but the card isnt being auto detected. i have no cds. BTW the card is a 9550 series

Also, what is the wattage of ur PSU. Post it's make and brand as well as the amps on the +12V rail. This information is found on the sticker on the power supply unit(PSU for short)
