DriverHeaven has done an interview with ATI

I feel that ATI's support is top notch in the graphics industry bar none. We have a large dedicated staff of customer support specialists and have reduced our turn around time for customer support to record levels. Furthermore we support all our partner cards, in other words it doesn't matter if you buy an ATI branded retail card or say for example a Hercules, Sapphire, or Visiontek card you still get ATI tech support. We are also very accessible to users whether it be in interviews like this, or even having employees help people out in the various forums.

Drivers

Public relations: “the business of inducing the public to have understanding for and goodwill toward a person, firm or institution”.

With that in mind, I remember when I had my Radeon 7200. It was a lot of bang for the buck, so I really got more than I expected. Then I bought the Radeon 8500DV, and I was left expecting more. Later I also got a Geforce 2 GTS, and the performance was the best thus far. The Radeon’s core runs at 230 MHz, and the Geforce’s core runs at 200 MHz, so this can only be explained by better drivers from Nvidia.

ATI Customer Support

I purchased an ATI 9700 pro at the beginning of December.
I have been unable to install card on an Asus P4S333.
Spoke with ATI Tech Support 12/6/02 regarding problem. Tech Support indicated they would relay problem to appropriate person and have them contact me. I am still waiting.
