Audigy2 I/O Range keeps changing

i have an audigy2 sound card. the card works fine but i notice that it occasionally switches to 2.1 from 4.1 in the control panel.

i notice that under device manager, the audigy changes from I/O range 8400 to A000 and switches back from time to time.

it is weird because right now my 9800 pro is using I/O range starting at A000. and my audigy2 is at 8400.

does anyone know what is going on?

i looked deeper into the problem and found that the audigy2 and 9800pro keeps switching I/O from about 8000 and A000 with each other. weird.
