Is your sound integrated into your motherboard?

If yes, then tell us what your motherboard is.

If no, then tell us what your card is.

Well, you sound driver is one of THESE , but I am having a hard time telling which one. To be honest, neither of them look like a match for you (the 3rd one is definately not for you). But these are all that MSI is offering.

Unless someone else comes along with more knowledge than I have, we need to know more about what everest is saying about your sound.

Why don't you try THIS and see if you can update your drivers automatically.

this is what everest is saying about my sound

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

I think this is what you are looking for. Go HERE and click on Audio driver, then sis 7012, and then on your os, then go. Then click download.

forgive my ignorance but when i download and setup a driver is it supposed to work automatically? i setup all of the drivers in the link above and the ones from the liveupdate then tried to update driver through device manager but still no result.

Hmm. According to his first post, he has already tried that driver. I guess the problem is not a driver issue? Or perhaps he isn't installing them correctly....

i tried the liveupdate again and it worked this time! thanks alot DonNagual for the advice u really saved my ***!
