Hello,

I have a wierd problem. My AVG antivirus (free edition) sais that 2 of the restore files on my system (ex. restore6546s4d6a4ca46a4sd1c4 (not an actual file)) is a virus. I get an AVG pop-up that virus was detected whenever my PC feels like it. Also Zone labs said that there are 2 viruses too. I can not delete, quarantine, ignore or anything else with these files. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Simply turn off system restore and turn it back on again.

This will clear the restore points on your computer, and thus clear the detected virii. Your problem should then be solved.

Please be careful about posting your email address on public forums though - It's a sure way to get spam, as bots crawl the internet for email adresses in the same way that search engine spiders crawl the internet for web pages.
