Bad FPS

i rescently bought a nVidia Geforce MX 4000 and im gettin about 60 fps tops on counter strike 1.6. i have fps_max set to 120 so its not that, with my old nVidia Riva TNT2 i got around 60 to and im pretty sure i should be able to get more with this newer card. I run CS at 800 x 600 and 16 bit. I dont know alot about my computer but i know i have an intel pentium 3 processor and i have 256 MB of ram, if you need to know anything more about it then ask and i might be able to find it out. Please help me get better FPS

I Have Issues With Fps Also

Check If You Have The Old Sdram System That Runs Your Ram @ 133 Mhz. With A Great Video Card Like The Radeon 9800 Pro I Topped Out At 50 Something In Most Levels. Scoutz And Knives I Went As High As 150 But I Think Its Just The Level. Anyway Check It Out... Wish I Could Be More Help
