Bad Image error. It does it on everything I click on.

I had a bunch of spyware and whatnot get on my computer today. I have spyware removal software, and have ran it dozens of times. I get this message:

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\bfwfo8wvwrn5uxu.dll.dll.dll.dll.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

I get the error everytime I click on anything. And it also does it about a thousand times when the computer starts up also. Any advice?

I think I've fixed it now. I don't know why it had five ".dll" endings. I renamed the file to have just one .dll at the end and that seems to have fixed it for now at least.

bad image error

I have having an issue when opening certian progarmes when it says www /.../msi.dll or dll erro bade image error.

Have been looking on the net for a solution but yet to find any. have done a number of virus/spyware scans and still no luck. Anyone know how to fix this
