Hi,
I've a problem, a big big problem:
I've installed a key logger software on win2000 and it has replaced the keyboard driver with another version...When I reboot, the keyboard and mouse don't respond to the user inputs so I cannot press ctrl+alt+del and I cannot logon! What can I do? How do I replace the old drivers? The computer is a Compaq evo...I shouldn't open the chassis!

Thank you for help

p.s. The keyboard and mouse are plugged into computer!!

Keyboard Error

Is do you have another PC you can remote into that one with? Sounds far fetched, I'm just throwing it out there...

Boot into safe mode. If you can't do that either then a repair install of Windows is the easy solution.

You could also unregister/replace the driver manually using another OS.

Using an external keyboard is worth a shot.

I've already booted in safe mode, tried to plug another keyboard but it still doesn't work. The computer is in a LAN, but only a folder is shared and it isn't the windows one! In the case I could access the windows folder via console how can I install the right drivers?

Boot into Bios, keyboard works ?
Boot into Recovery Console and do a repair installation.
