Bios password of gateway solo 9550

My husband received a Gateway Solo 9550 laptop from an NGO as donation but it has locked bios. The donor didn't provide the password. Please help me unlock the bios. Thanks.

Step 1.Remove CMOS battery from motherboard.

Step 2.Move jumpers on three little pins on the motherboard to the opposite position.

Step 3.Restart the computer,then turn it off again.

Step 4.Move the jumpers back to their original position.

Step 5.Replace CMOS battery.

Step 6.Voila !
