BIOS Setup for newly built computer

I just finished assembling a new computer. Using an Abit NF7-S Ver 2 MOBO, AMD 2500+ Athlon CPU; and a Evga GeForce 6800 GT Graphics card and Windows XP Pro. It booted up the first time (score one for me:)) but I have a couple of questions about the BIOS setup.
1. The CPU comes up as unknown, is this normal?
2. What should I set the CPU operating speed, External clock and Multiplier factor to? Right now they are CPU_600; Clock-100Mhz; Mult-6
Thanks in advance for any help
Dave

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your fsb should be set to 166mhz for your cpu.

The multiplier cannot be set, and is automatically set at 11x.

11x166mhz(333mhz effective)=1826mhz(1.8gig) cpu speed.
