BIOS upgrade

  1. hi i just read somewhere recently that if you upgrade the bios on your mother board then that can help with oc'ing. either way i would like to upgrade it or update or w/e. however i do not kno very much about doing this my motherboard is an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium with an Opteron 144 processor the rest of my specs are on my profile sheet. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ok thanks i looked at a lot of places and found that my mobo has an ez flash thing where u just need a floppy with the bios on it and at POST press <alt>+<F2> and it will ask for the floppy and it will do it without a hitch and i did it and it works great now i was able to go from 2.3Ghz to 2.5Ghz and i havent tried further yet
