Bioshock and System Shock 2

It is out and I'm downloading a copy as we speak from Direct2Drive. Thoughts from those who've played it?

The demo was beautiful and had some stellar atmosphere.

Also, thoughts on System Shock 2?

Finished the game once and now going through on hard setting. One of the best games I have experienced in my whole life. The game world is so alive it is just fantastic.

SS2 was also a great game, I have played it many times. Playing BioShock has made me think of the game more but I do not think I will be able to leave the game play of Bio Shock any time soon to play it again.

Bioshock kinda goes without saying.. It's an amazing game albeit limited by it's system requirements for many.

System Shock 2 is one of my all-time favorite games as it adds a lot more exploration and RPG-ish elements to the FPS genre. Be sure to check out any of the various re-texture mods for SS2 as it's graphics engine is old/tired. While the gameplay still rocks, the re-texture mods and such make it look a bit better.
