I'm running the free version of BitDefender, and it had found this worm in one of my RAR archived files; Infected MemScan:Win32.Worm.P2P.Puce.B
but, it can't disinfect it, or move it (perhaps because it's in the archive file).

Is it safe to just delete this entire archive file? (it's a file I've downloaded using a P2P program).
How should I proceed with this?

Any advice gladly appreciated!
Thanks

Myau

Yes, just delete the entire archive. Whatever you do, don`t be tempted to extract the files from the archive.

Once you`ve done that, empty your recycle bin and do a full system scan with your antivirus programme.

One final tip: Stop downloading crap from p2p programmes. ;)
