Black screen no keyboard or mouse response

Hi,

While doing normal work, word, Internet etc, the monitor went black with no responding to the keyboard, the monitor's signal LED’s still green, I have Manual restarting the computer, it happened randomly.

Checked Event log, no errors and warnings in there.

Any ideas?

Is it working now ? If it just happened the once, could be a momentary short in a capacitor, motherboard or power supply, which often reseal themselves, at least for a while.

It is a warning - make sure you have a full backup of your system NOW. Make an image of your system drive NOW. Then if the worst happens, and it may be permanent next time, at least you lose nothing and can rebuild your PC in very short order.
