Blank Display - eMachines W2247 with AM37 Motherboard

I inherited an eMachines W2247 (AM37 mobo) because of a "blank display" problem, and hoped that I could install a video card.

How do I disable the onboard video? Is there a jumper on the mobo (I can't see one), or do I have to disable the onboard video in the BIOS? Of course, without a display, I can't access the BIOS.

I visited eMachines web site, but there is no help there.

I know that I will probably have to replace the mobo ($139.95), as this would be more cost effective than purchasing a new PC.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Try clearing the cmos(bios), ussualy a jumper very near the battery on the MoBo. If needed remove the battery for about 10 mins...
No jumper I'm aware of to disable onboard video, should be in the bios.
E-machines with trouble like this in advance can get costly to fix but
well worth a try...
