Hi

I'm running Windows XP SP2, on a Dell. I don’t know why I keep getting this blue screen, because I haven’t really installed anything new recently, and my current configuration has been working pretty well for a while. The last time the blue screen happened was while I was running an, Adware Scan. So I included the .bmp file and my hijack this log.

Thanks

Hi,

One minidump is often not enough,

however,your one minidump points to portcls.sys -

a Microsoft "audio port-class driver"

Try uninstalling/updating/reinstalling your Sound Card drivers.

It could also be a RAM issue,so run Memtest for a good while.

Attach a few more minidumps.

Nothing conclusive I can see,but somebody might give you a second opinion.

My suggestion run Memtest.Any errors and it`s time for a new RAM stick

Run checkdisk - chkdisk /r Always a good idea, even if it doesn`t fix the problem.

There is a mention of firefox.exe in several of those dumps, but I`m not an uber expert,

so couldn`t say if was a significant mention.
