Boot problem - please help!

  1. Hi Everybody! I'm new here and I need help! This morning my Dell computer refused to boot. After three attempts it came up with the message: "three previous attempts failed at checkpoint [eNMI]". Does anybody have any idea what it is and what should I do? I also noticed that floppy drive light comes on, but there is no attempt to read (even if I insert a disk). Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Never heard of such a thing. Have you added any new hardware or software? I suggest you call Dell support if you're still covered as their service department is top notch.
