How do I stop my page from flickering when the page loads, or when I visit websites with flash content? I am using Internet Explorer 6, for Windows 2000. I have re installed, and it still does the same thing. The monitor screen does not flicker, just the objects in a web page.

This also happens when I do a mouse over, or when I am typing on internet forms. I have the latest Macromedia flash player installed already. Can someone puleassse help?

It might be your ISP service speed,or do you happen to have only a
56k modem ?
I have Cable.

What is your graphics card? I know that it is hard to scroll using Windows Server 2003 and a very basic graphics card, but that could be the operating system as well.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Give this a try and let us know if it helps.

1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu, and then click the Advanced tab.
2. Under Browsing, click to select the Force offscreen compositing even under Terminal Server (Requires restart) check box.
3. Click OK.
4. Quit Internet Explorer, and then restart it.
