hello.

im receiving a BSOD after i try run a game called cabal online.
(the game site is www.cabalonline.net)

once i run the game, theres an auto updater that loads up, once it finishes doing the update the GameGuard program loads, right after it is done loading i receive an error message which says "the instruction at "0x458bed80" referenced memory at "0x5f05001e". The memory could not be "read".

after that the computer reboots itself.

i've disabled the reboot option in order to receive the BOSD in order to get more info, i receive the following error " STOP: 0x0000008e ( 0xc0000005, 0xBABA0BF1, 0xF6405B04, 0x00000000)".

then i've tried to uninstall the game and reinstall it, after that i did not receive the error message after the load of gameguard but the computer rebooted itself right away, then i received a diffrent BOSD which said "STOP: 0x0000008e (0xc0000005, 0xB9687BF1, 0xB7A03b04, 0x00000000)"

i've tried to google them but my hands came up empty.

i would appreciate any help i could get.

my computer specs:

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Dual Core
Motherboard: Abit KN9 SLI
RAM: 1024 MB (DDR2-667 Mhz)
Video Card: GeForce 7600GT 256MB
Chipset: nVidia nForce 570 SLI , AMD Hammer
HardDrive: 250GB 7200RPM, 16MB, SATA II Western Digital.
OS: Win XP Pro SP 2

i am uncertain about the meaning of GPU and PSU so i do not know how to provide them.

thank u very much for the help.

the stop code 0x0000008e stands for a driver problem. So you have to check your drivers. My guess is your VGA or Soundcard

thx for replying.. but my vid card is up to date, also my sound card (which is onboard btw)

i updated my bios as well to see if it would help but it didn't.

what other drivers might effect the game and prevent it from working in ur opinion?
