BSOD loading XPpro SP2. IRQL NOT EQUAL & PAGE FAULT NON PAGED AREA

Hi. As a newcomer to forums and a relative techno dunce, please excuse my lack of providing the right info for my problem in this 1st instance.

i have been trying unsuccessfully to load WinXPpro SP2, to my PC. It loads up to just before you press F8, then gives me the BSOD with either IRQL NOT EQUAL or PAGE FAULT IN NON PAGED AREA.

I have done the following things to try to resolve this issue but have reached the end of the line as far as ideas and knowledge go!
1. replaced the RAM - several different sticks, in either slot on the MOBO
2. Swapped PSU, CDROM, VIDEO CARD, IDE CABLES, Hard Drive.
3. Formatted, CHDSK'd and SCANKISK'd the hard drive
4. Disabled video Shadowing, Memory Hole and Video Cache in the BIOS
5. Tried a different WinXP pro SP2 CD, tried Win2000, WinXP

The system was running fine until I tried to re-load - Damn!!!

It's a MS-6340 MOBO with an AMD XP2000+ chip

Don't know how to read, send etc "Bug codes" or "Dumps" but any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Fanx

WOW - seems like you've replaced all the important parts except for the mobo, and it STILL doesnt want to know.

Open your machine up and check to make sure that none of the chips, transistors or resistors have burnt out on the mobo...

I had a problem with installing XP SP2 on a machine using a USB keyboard. It kept crashing with BSOD but with a diff error - i swapped it for a PS2 key/b and it worked first time...

just a thought..
