I have an IPAQ 470 running windows 2003 and Active sync 3.8. today I upgraded to WM5 and active sync 4.5 on my desktop . I have uninstalled and reinstalled AS a number of times. it either BSODs or hangs on acquiring a network address. I have followed all the trouble shooting steps to no avail. I installed it also on my laptop and have been able to make it work there. Laptop is XP Pro and desktop XP Home. There is no minidump but the BSODS are:
OX00000D1 ( 0X0AEBC7FC,0X00000002,0X0001,0X8472101E)
I disabled all the security to try and get it working, but to no avail. I attach a Hijack this log ( too big to put in the body of the message )
I don't suppose anyone will be able to help but I am feeling rather desperate as I need the IPAQ to be able to sync ( and had to upgrade to WM5 as I will be training on it )
