Bypassing a login password?

I have WindowsXP (home edition if it makes a difference) and I've completely forgotten my password to login to the computer...Is there anyway around the password??

I have heard of ways of booting into Safe Mode then logging in as the Administrator. I never tried it so I have no clue if it works.
