can someone reccommend a Security suite pls

I am looking for a suite for full protection from nasties, something easy to use and hands free

I recommend you not get Symantec, Norton, McAfee, or Panda.
We use the paid version of AVG for terrific results to far. Computer Associates EZArmor and their others are good, as are Trend Micro, NOD32,
AVG by download is a two year subscription at a fair price.
AVAST is good in both free and paid versions.

As a home user, you might find that the free version of AVG is sufficient for your needs. I don't think the scanning is any different.

Anyway, here's what I recommend. This should keep you protected in every area.

Either AVG free or avast! antivirus (but not both at the same time, as this can cause conflicts)

Either ZoneAlarm or Sunbelt firewall (again, only one at a time)

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Ad-aware SE Personal

AVG Antispyware

SpywareBlaster

CCleaner
