Cannot get rid of pop up ads ... please HELP

I'm on a Windows 2000 machine. I'm not at the machine, it belongs to a friend, so please give full instructions.

From safe mode I have run, Ad-Aware and SpyBot 1.3 with latest updates.
The ads still pop up. So from safe mode I tried to delete SurfSideKick from Program Ffiles, but it woldn't let me.

I've atached the HiJackThis file because it is too long.



Please help. Where can I learn to effectively use HiJack this?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

First go and have the computer scanned with the Trend Houscall online scanner.

Then, go and read both these threads by RBS. Follow all the instructions exactly.

How to remove Trojans and its ilk! and How to remove Begin2search / coolwebsearch and other nasties.

Once you have done that, see How to post your Hijackthis log-file as an ATTACHMENT.
