Hey all, well, to get straight to the point.

I have a 2gb memory stick for my canon sd800. I went to a concert and recorded videos that took up all of the memory. I inserted it the usb cable into my laptop to begin uploading the vids to it, but everytime i try to open any video, it won't let me. It says its a drwatso issue.

I also took some pics at the event and they all open fine. The only issue i am having is with the videos. I deleted some to get some free space to see if the memory fill up was the problem, but it didn't make a difference. With the memory i have left, none of th videos will open. They will upload to my folders, but whn i click on them to open, my laptop freezes.

Anyone have ideas on what to do to open the vids? I'd rather not delete anything else since it is that it was a great concert that i want to remember when i look at the vids.

ps. i can see the vids on my camera and play them without any issues.

thanks

You may not have the codec that the camera used to make the videos. Try to open the videos with VLC.
