cant click any menu items in EA Cricket

Have recently bought the game but I'm unable to click any links from the game menu. I meet all requirements and I have just updated my drivers and I still can't do it.

Anybody have any ideas?

and....

This is what EA had to say:

"Windows has lost its extension association with the Internet Explorer Application Host program."

What does this mean and how do i fix it?
