Can't Find the EEROM Chip in Latitude 540/640

Hi,
I've been up and down these posts. Have taken the Laptop apart about 3 times. I have looked high and low for this chip and I can not find it. The closest of come is to a chip that says 93LC86. Nothing with C2402 on it. If anyone has this particular computer. Please help me with the location of this chip as I am going GA-GA! Thank you in advance.

And why can't it be the 93LC86 and why does it have to be C2402?

I guess because Dell and the rest of the forum says it isn't. I finnally found the right chip. In was hidden underneath the metal plate on the left side. The number was 24c05. It seems they vary from 24c02-06 if not mistaken. :hotbounce
