Every time i try to boot from my cd-rom to format my hard disk and reinstall windows xp professional again i get this error "The file fastfat.sys is corrupted. Press any key to continue" It only happens when it's in the Blue screen (windows setup) scanning/loading the files. I can't get pass it and get to the hard disk to wipe it.
What should i do? Thanks.

Is your BIOS setup to boot from the CD in the Boot priority?
Be sure your BIOS is setup correctly first.
Then Cold Boot to the CD.

Yeah I'm pretty sure its set correctly, i just get that fastfat.sys error everytime i get to the blue screen scanning part.

Try cleaning the CD drive. Sounds stupid, but I had the same problem in a laptop I was working on.
