Can't open My Computer etc, HJT/AVG/Combofix files attached

Hi there,

I have recently reloaded Windows XP Home Edition on my computer. I also updated Spybot and Adaware. Neither program picked up anything serious are the initial run.

However I booted up and now when I click on a folder, My Computer or Control Panel the computer doesn't do anything at all. I can move the mouse. If I right click I get the hour glass and then again no reaction. Yet I can open files on my desktop?

I have been through each step listed on this page (https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/updated-4-step-viruses-spyware-malware-removal-preliminary-instructions.58138/)
and I have attached the three log files (in txt format). AVG AntiRootkit results are clean.


Can someone help me? Am I better off re-formatting my hard drive?

Update:

I have just re-run HJT and Combofix.

New files attached. I will add the new AVG Antispyware when it is finished running.
