Can't open task manager!

Every time i try to open task manager, it opens and closes by itself. How do i get rid of this. I currently have norton antivirus,adaware,spydoctor,registry cleaner. Adaware always finds tracking cookies and my host files had a whole bunch of internet websites like symantec blocked, and my live update. I had to delete it. what is this?

It sounds to me like you have something more serious going on. I'd have a look at this thread and follow the instrucions EXACTLY! Then post your hijack log as shown in this thread.
