Can't save Hijackthis as a txt document??

Nothing like starting out at the beginning

I did a scan, saved the log to the desktop.

Tried to SaveAs a txt file, wouldn't work.
Tried to SaveAs "all files" which was only listed option, no good

Tried to create a txt file and copy or move the log to that, no good.

Can't even Open the Log File

About to start building a complete new system, want to transfer
a number of files, want to make sure they're clean before I transfer.

Have scanned w/Norton but now I read that Norton is "suspect"
esp w/worms etc.

Really appreciate any help!!

Save that file in whichever way you can. Then just rightclick and RENAME it.
