No, to see if the problem still happens in Safe Mode. If the problem doesn't appear in Safe Mode, it's a hint that it's in an optional area of Windows that is not included when you go to Safe Mode.
You just turn on you monitor and press the start button.

As for Password,just ignore it,then you don't have a password and
it won't ask for one as you don't have one.
But do you know your Password and mean the Keyboard won't type ?
Do you ever get to YOUR Desktop to test the keyboard.
Are these other password users letting you use theirs to use Help and test your keyboard ?
