Raptor 730V Fusion
nVIDIA GeForce Go 8700M GT PCI-E with 512MB DDR2 VideoRAM (Best with Vista)
Intel® T7250 (2.0GHz x 2) Core™2 Duo 4MB Cache 800MHz FSB
1024MB DDR2 667MHz Kingston RAM (1x1024)
80GB SATA 150 HDD 5400 RPM (250GB SATA available!)
8X DVD±R/RW Burner Multi Drive
Windows XP Pro with Drivers and Utilities CD

I am fairly new to the PC scene, and I am looking to purchase a capable gaming laptop for college (im sure I'll be bored).

Is this a capable gaming PC? I want things to run exceptionally well, not mediocre. The only games that I play are WoW, CS, and Battlefield II. I need to know that this set-up will be MORE THAN CAPABLE to run these programs well.

Thanks a million, I really appreciate the help.

I looked up that graphics processor and it looks like a competitive unit. Capable.26.5 GB/sec.Bandwidth. Your ram memory is a good speed (667mhz) but try to raise that to two gigs. It will give your gaming more headroom. I'm not real familiar with the T7250 but 800 mhz FSB, &4 MB of cache will game O.K. 2 cores of 2.0GHZ won't burn the trail but it should keep up. I noticed that the 'Raptor' series offers 7200 RPM hard drives. And that 2 Gigs of Ram = $90. Also comes in a 2.4 GHZ core 2. Good Luck.
