I have an issue that needs a fast fix. My disk drives (I have 2) will not work. They both have power and can move the disk tray but the computer cannot seem to find the 2 devices. I have looked in the Device Manager and it states that they are working properly but in My Computer, the 2 devices do not show up. Do I need to install the drivers again? If I do, where can I find them, I have looked in a lot of places, even here. Someone help, this sucks!

do you have them set as slave and master? if they both are master, it won't reconize them. you can change the order by the jumpers in the back of the drive

It might be worth a trip to the bios when the system starts up. Something could have changed without you realising (that does happen). Other than that, try swapping their position within the cables. Other than that try the jumpers...

Remove them in Device Manager and re-boot and let Windows re-detect them...i recommend doing this one device at a time.

patio.
